Detroit Performance Plus FE Engine Oil FA4 20L (Detroit DD13 Gen5 & DD16)
Trucks with Detroit engines designated as GHG17, GHG21 and GHG24 are factory filled with 10W30 FA-4 oil. This offers improved fuel consumption.
Detroit offers oils meeting both standards, which are fully tested in Australian conditions to provide good protection.
Note that FA-4 oil is not approved for ADR-80/03 DD15 engines in legacy trucks, so in mixed fleets there may be value in using the CK-4 oil, which is approved for both legacy and current engines.
